Marcus noticed an unfriendly smell coming from his bathroom which was progressively getting worse and worse. He quickly organised a plumber from O’Shea Plumbing who was recommended to come and have a look.
Adam (O’Shea Plumber) arrived and instantly noticed the issue. He was also concerned about the speed at which the water drained from the toilet when flushed.
Adam provided Marcus with an obligation free quote to replace the rubber which was causing the smell in his bathroom, as well as a quote to investigate the cause of the slow draining toilet.
Marcus approved the works, and Adam got right to work. He removed the toilet and replaced the required rubber seal causing the smell. While the toilet was out, he used the drain camera to investigate the drain and found that there was a junction in the backyard picking up an outhouse.
Adam prepared his drain clearing tools and got to work, clearing a large clump of roots from the drain that had collected some toilet paper, causing the drain to drain slower than it should of. Eventually this would have completely blocked causing sewerage to overflow into his back yard.
Adam was grateful that this was solved before it became a larger, more expensive plumbing issue.

Jeff complete the agreed works, and not only did the water hammer disappear, but now Mandy has protected all her cold water piping and fixtures from excess high water pressure which can cause a range of plumbing problems.
